Rules

BidOrbit is a public leaderboard rendered as a solar system. Rank is what you pay — nothing else. There are no ads, no editorial curation, and no way to buy a rank other than outbidding whoever holds it.

The ranks

There are nine fixed ranks. The highest bidder owns the Sun (#1). The next eight highest bidders own a planet, in order out to Neptune. Everyone else orbits further out, in the Kuiper List.

Ranks are labelled by orbit rather than by number. SOL is the Sun — first place, at the centre. After that, Orbit I is Mercury and second place, Orbit II is Venus and third, and so on out to Orbit VIII — Neptune, and ninth. The further from the Sun, the lower the bid. Kuiper List entries keep a plain number, counting outward from the first one past Neptune.

The boards

• All-time is the main board. Rank is everything you have ever paid. It does not expire.
• Today is scoped to bids placed since midnight UTC. A bid drops off this board once the day resets.
• Daily keeps a permanent archive — one closed board per day, forever.
• Categories run the same all-time mechanic scoped to one vertical at a time.

How outbidding works

You can outbid the current holder of any spot — planet or Kuiper — at any time, by paying more than they currently hold that spot for. There is no lock-in period and no tiebreaker beyond the clock: the higher bid wins, and if two bids are ever equal, the earlier bid keeps the higher rank.

Already listed? Submit the same URL or handle again to raise your own rank. Your new amount must be higher than your current bid; checkout only charges the difference between your old and new amount. No one else can take your rank by matching your own bid.

What you can list

A product website, or an X/social @handle.

What's not allowed

• Chat and invite links — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar. The board is for products and profiles, not group chats.
• Sexual, pornographic, or adult-platform content.
• Link shorteners, or links carrying tracking/affiliate query parameters, used to hide or dress up the real destination.
• Fake, missing, or impersonated company details on the listed site — see our Terms of Service.

What happens after you pay

• Your listing goes live immediately, showing the amount paid and your resolved logo/company name.
• Clicks on your listing go straight to the URL or handle you submitted.
• Payments are not refundable — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We may remove a listing at any time for breaching the Terms of Service, without refund.
